2018 - 2019, Successful
[Dr. Marynick is] compassionate and truly cares about seeking a resolution even if it's in a non-traditional way. He thinks outside the box and cares more about the "why"...encouraged us to do a "recurrent pregnancy loss panel" to thoroughly test for issues relating to why I could not seem to stay pregnant. He found some autoimmune issues and his protocol focused on replicating a treatment plan from a colleague of his that had great success based on women with similar autoimmune issues as mine. Once I received a positive pregnancy test (resulting from an IUI), I immediately did an iVig treatment and intralipids. Then, I did 4 more of the same treatments once per month to sustain my pregnancy. i also took a baby aspirin, progesterone, estrogen and 2 heparin shots daily. We welcomed a healthy baby girl 9 months later.
They [Texas Center for Reproductive Health] are cash only (but SO worth it). The wait can sometimes be long for an appointment (if your appt time is 1pm that is merely a "suggestion" for example) but it's because the doctor is so through with all patients so as soon as he meets with you, you understand because he takes the same amount of time and care with you. Dr Marynick performs all of his sonograms personally (this is important so if there is good/bad news, he delivers the info to you right then).
How was your experience with Samuel Marynick at Texas Center for Reproductive Health?
We struggled with infertility for 2.5 years before being referred to Dr Marynick by several friends. The first time we met with him he spent over 3 hours with us! He went thru every single page of my chart from the previous fertility clinic (over 100 pages!) and had highlighted items he wanted to discuss with us. We had been pregnant 6 times and lost all of them around 6-8 weeks. Dr Marynick was very thorough and thoughtful and we felt he really wanted to get to the bottom of why we could not stay pregnant rather than continue getting me pregnant only to miscarry. We did some additional, non-traditional testing and Dr Marynick really felt that I had some autoimmune issues that would require some out-of-the-box treatments. He would always explain everything to us in great detail, even though some of it was over our heads. He would listen to our questions. He would perform all of his own sonograms, personally. Some would say his theories are silly and overkill but at the end of the day, we delivered a healthy baby girl at the end of August by following his protocall. We truly believe a traditional reproductive endocrinologist would not have dug deep enough to discover the "why" behind my miscarriages...but Dr Marynick was willing to and for that we are eternally grateful.
