Her recommendations were based on my specific challenges, and she was attentive and communicative throughout all my fertility treatments. She was straightforward and kind, and extremely hands-on. I would recommend her to anyone undergoing fertility treatment without reservation.

Dr. Cascante was attentive to the specifics of my situation, making recommendations and treatment plans specifically tailored for my challenges. She was extremely communicative and sensitive to my needs.
Describe the protocols Sarah Cascante used in your cycles at NYU Langone Fertility Center (Prelude Network Clinic) and their degree of success.
For my second round of egg retrieval, she used a lupron microdose protocal. This resulted in 2 euploid embroys, versus none in my prior standard IVF round. For my embryo transfers, my endometrial lining did not develop using just estrace, so she developed a modified natural cycle with FSH injections initially and mucinex orally. She used this for two embryo transfers, both successful (although one resulting in a clinical miscarriage and D&C).

The nursing staff at NYU was excellent, extremely helpful and kind.

IUI using letrozole - 2 IUI's were successful of 3. Dr. Cascante was confident that the IUI would be the best strategy for me as I experience infrequent periods.

The nursing staff and my care coordinator were absolutely phenomenal throughout my entire experience. One of the best parts of this journey was their kind and patient-centered approach. They were incredibly attentive, making sure I was comfortable and informed at every step. Whether it was answering my last-minute questions, promptly returning phone calls, or simply offering words of encouragement, they consistently went above and beyond. Their empathy and dedication made me feel like I had a whole team cheering me on, and their support truly made a difference in easing the stress of the fertility process.

The clinic was amazing, from front line to clinical staff for all the reasons I've already outlined - patient-centered care, strong communication and responsiveness, etc. One area of improvement is that the morning monitoring (blood and ultrasound) takes longer than expected.

My insurance largely covered my care, I only had copays which were probably totaled about $100 for one IUI cycle.

Dr. Cascante was very knowledgeable and always took the time to explain and answer as many questions as we had. She was always easy to reach and always warm and professional when calling back with results.
Describe the protocols Sarah Cascante used in your cycles at NYU Langone Fertility Center (Prelude Network Clinic) and their degree of success.
We started with an IUI cycle which ended up being a timed intercourse instead of an actual insemination because we had to travel. Unfortunately we had a negative pregnancy test result. We then decided to go with IVF instead of trying another IUI cycle, we all agreed it would increase our chances. The IVF cycle was very smooth, we were able to retrieve 23 eggs from which 6 ended up being viable, genetic tested embryos. We did a 5-day-embryo FET and I am so happy to now be 9 weeks pregnant.

The nursing staff at NYU Fertility Clinic were amazing! Everyone was very warm and professional and even though there's a high patient volume every day, they would always take the time to discuss your cycle, your treatment and answer any questions.

Dr. Cascante was very clear about the risks of a multiple pregnancy and explained why she will always suggest a single embryo transfer which is what we did.

Doctor Casante was very responsive and listened and provided me with options for my diagnosis and provided me with information so I can make an informed decision. She also ran additional tests and changed my protocol before just repeating the procedure. I felt heard and cared for. She is a gentle and amazing soul. Her entire team was amazing and was always responsive and was never made to feel like just another number or a bother. I would recommend her and her team to everyone.

Doctor Cascante first held a in person meeting to ensure that she had all of the information needed before moving forward. Then after the first failed embryo transfer she followed up with a saline sonogram which showed that I had a polyp. After that I did a polyp removal surgery with no complications. She also added an immune protocol to my transfer which ended with a positive pregnancy test on my second embryo transfer.

The coordinator and nursing staff are absolutely outstanding. Each interaction whether in person or over the phone was professional and compassionate. They were also very responsive and is always a good interaction.

Dr. Cascante has been wonderful to work with. Going through fertility treatments is such a delicate time, and she really helps you feel comfortable and provided all of the appropriate information to make the best decisions in terms of treatment plans.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Sarah Cascante at NYU Langone Fertility Center (Prelude Network Clinic)?
Dr Cascante is a very caring and compassionate doctor. She would also listen to all of our questions and concerns and address each one of them. Although our IUI was successful, we sadly ended the pregnancy in the second trimester due to medical reasons, and when we went back to Dr. Cascante, she was very empathic and caring during our conversations.

We did a cycle of IUI with clomid and started to take progesterone suppositories a few days after the IUI due to my low progesterone. This cycle was successful, but then sadly we ended the pregnancy in the second trimester due to a medical reason.

All of the nursing staff is wonderful. Every nurse that I communicated with was so clear about communicating all of the information and so helpful during the process.
