It takes a while to get a appointment but I've never had a long waiting time at my appointments. Everyone [Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine] is very nice and supportive. The clinic is almost a 2 hour drive and I wish it could be closer.... Dr. Bocca is very thorough and responds to all messages. She answers all questions and makes sure you understand before you leave the office. If you send a email she always gets back to you within the same day. She will make timelines to better help you understand how the treatment will work. At the follicle scans she is so good about including my husband and I in explaining.

The nursing staff [at Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine] is great, however I do feel sometimes they are too busy for compassion...Strengths: Easy scheduling, responsive nurses, clean Weaknesses: The Jones Institute is a part of EVMS which is a school, the changing staff can be draw back. This is because you don’t get to make those relationships. Infertility is such a private matter, and it has an element of embarrassment. So, when you are constantly having to meet unfamiliar staff it can feel awkward.

Communication was key to me. The [Procreate Fertility Center of Virginia] office staff communicated and was able to schedule my appointments in a timely manner. I really didn’t have any problems with the clinic. Even on the holiday schedules, the staff was able to accommodate my needs...Dr. Bocca is very knowledgeable and she understands the treatment protocols. Her commitment and communication was spot on and she was always willing to answer all of my questions. When something came about I felt comfortable speaking with her. I just felt my treatment could’ve been looked into more closely but no fault of her own. She was willing to help and go the extra mile when needed. She prescribed many treatments and I felt like she understood when I was disappointed when I still didn’t get pregnant after treatment protocols.

All the staff [Jones Inst For Repro Med] seems very warm and compassionate. They never say anything negative to you. The location is great too. The only negative thing I could say, is that women who end up pregnant and get their first ultrasound there, should go out a different door or something. I was upset one appointment when I arrived and there was a couple all happy about their first ultrasound picture of their baby.

The nurse coordinator [at Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine] for our surrogacy was always very prompt at returning calls. Dr. Bocca is such a friendly and compassionate physician. I was very pleased for all of her advice and how well she educated us as we started our process to create a baby! ... I do not remember the exact cost but we did our sperm testing and freezing through the Jones institute. I believe it was about 2000.00
