Susannah Copeland is an extremely sensitive listener, I never feel rushed, I never feel like my questions are annoying/dumb (even though I may ask them more than once), she remembers details about my unique situation, she is patient and makes sure that I understand and that all my questions have been answered.

Dr. Susan Copland and her staff are very passionate about their job. Each time I visit her, she makes me feel we are on this journey together especially since I'm taking the decision as a single mom by choice after an abusive marriage. There is no better feeling than having a supportive doctor. Despite 2 failed IUIs, I'm still optimistic that I will conceive with the help of Dr. Susan Copland because of the passion she has for her job.

Dr. Copland is very detailed. It is a small practice and she spent her time explaining the treatment plan with you. We never felt rushed through any of our appointments. She answered questions quickly thorough the portal and never made you feel like you were asking crazy questions.

Dr. Copland balances intelligence and professionalism with warmth and compassion. Even though she has many patients, we always felt like she saw us as individuals. She remembered details about our lives, was friendly and welcoming, and acknowledged that we were in a stressful situation.

I feel like Dr. Copland listens to my desires and priorities. We had a bit of a communication mishap, but she did a great job (called me personally after work) to correct the issue.

I felt like a human. We first met her at a Resolve support group meeting. Our first appointment was very detailed and thorough, giving us a good feeling. She treated us like real people. She is very compassionate and caring about her patients. She uses just enough science and layperson language to make the process understandable. She called several times after hours to check on me and when I had questions at off hours, she would call back directly.

Dr. Copland is caring and compassionate. She puts her patients first. She has returned called in the evening and even while driving home from work!

From the very beginning Dr.Copland explained the entire process to my partner and I very thoroughly. She has been very caring and sensitive to our needs. Any questions or concerns that we may have she always gives her expert advice with the best and worst scenario. With her you get the feeling of genuine love from start to finish.

Dr. Copland personally sees me at every visit. She took the time to explain in-depth the challenges of my condition at our consultation, and seems to care about me as an individual. I feel like she’s applying scientifically backed approaches to my care. She expresses concern over my personal wellbeing, too.

Dr. Copland is always so warm and compassionate. She genuinely cares about her patients and wants to reach the ultimate goal of pregnancy as safely and efficiently as possible. She values the opinion of her patients.

No matter how much time passes between appointments I feel like she truly remembers me and my history, I never feel like im constantly having to remind her of my medical history. She asks about me and my family as if she genuinely cares about my well being

Dr. Copeland was very patient and answered any questions we had. She never made us feel rushed. She even followed up with personal phone calls every step of the way, whether it was just to let us know the progress of retrieved eggs or just to see if we were hanging in there. I preferred to know the result of our test via email, so I could bare the news either way by myself. Dr. Copeland respected my wishes and was very empathetic in her email. She re-iterated that I I wanted to talk she would be available. After a few weeks, and I had not reached back out to Dr. Copeland she sent and email and personally called me and asked us to come back into the clinic to discuss what may had happened and to discuss other options. She was so great, not only did she make me feel like she genuinely cared as a doctor but I was able to grieve with a friend. Dr. Copeland was not the first doctor that we consulted with. The first doctor in my opinion lacked bedside manner and made me feel inadequate of possibly being able to conceive. In addition, he discussed topics that had nothing to do with my personal situation. This was why a consulted with another doctor. I am glad I did because I my experience with Dr. Copeland and her staff at Atlantic Reproduction was first class and I would definitely anyone to their practice.

Dr. Copeland was kind and caring, patient and respectful. She was empathetic and patient as we navigated the fertility process.

Dr. Copeland and all of the staff at ARMS have been amazing. Always remember my name and specifics about my case. Have never felt rushed or like I wasn’t important.

Dr. Copeland was so so patient. She reviewed all of my files from NYC, where I had lived and done 3 hormones/timed intercourse, egg retrieval and 2 FETS previously, page by page. She asked questions, listened to my concerns, clarified information, and was even generous with advice about how to be monitored in a different location than my embryos.

We did 2 rounds of IUI with Dr. Copland. She really treated us like humans and answered any and every question we had. She explained things in a way we understood and always used examples.

Dr Copeland had an excellent bedside manner and treated me like a human to a point.

Despite how busy she might be, Dr. Copland always has time to listen or answer questions. She has kept up with the personal details of my life as well that make me feel like I am important to her.

The care from everyone in Dr. Copland's office was above and beyond what I experienced at Duke. When results were bad they were there with hugs and tissue. I couldn't have asked for more.

I felt like a human, the treatment was always done by Dr Copeland and she always called to check on me. Everyone there is wonderful

Everyone in the office was friendly and took time to get to know us. When I would call, I could tell that the receptionist knew who I was when I said my name. Dr Copland always took her time with us - asking questions and truly listening.

She is absolutely amazing. The perfect blend of knowledge and compassion.
