[Dr. Mukherjee is] very quick and direct. He’s not emotional and doesn’t do any hand holding. He doesn’t give any extra information. But he is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced and he does answer all of my millions of questions patiently...I did single transfer every time, which is what I wanted. There was no reason to think multiple was necessary.
Strengths [of RMA of NY] is that it’s big, doctors are very experienced, the whole practice is very experienced and well oiled. If you want a smaller more attentive approach, maybe this is not the place for you but this place feels like the gold standard of fertility care...transfer is 4k each time. IUI I think was 1k each time. Egg retrieval much more, maybe around 11k

What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Tanmoy Mukherjee at RMA of New York?
His staff is amazing and he is quick to answer any questions. Very direct. I feel comfortable given his level of expertise that has become apparent throughout my years in his care, but don’t expect a particularly warm bedside manner.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Tanmoy Mukherjee at RMA of New York?
He is a very straight forward, no nonsense doctor. I like that about him. But he is not necessarily warm and doesn’t hold your hand.
Describe the protocols Tanmoy Mukherjee used in your cycles at RMA of New York and their degree of success.
My IUI was unmedicated, I had no diagnosed fertility issues. For my co-IVF, where I transferred my wife’s embryo, I was given progesterone, estrogen, medrol, azithromiacin, and baby aspirin.
