It’s clear upon meeting him that Dr Singer is an experienced, compassionate doctor with a lot of empathy for his patients. He’s incredibly positive but also pragmatic and direct about anticipated outcomes. He thoroughly explains his decision-making process, and made us feel comfortable and confident the whole time. We were shocked at how well each step of the process went from stims to retrieval and transfer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Singer to others. A nurse at the Ob-gyn practice I go to who referred me to him quipped “you’ll love him - Dr. Singer gets everyone pregnant!” And that’s fortunately been the case for us. One thing to note is that he does speak extremely quickly, so don’t be afraid to ask him to repeat or clarify. He was always willing to spend as much time as we needed for questions and to gather our concerns. You can tell his heart is really in his work, and that mattered a lot to us.

Write down questions and don’t be afraid to take as much time as you need to feel informed about your treatment plan.

I have PCOS so they started me on a “low and slow” protocol of 75 Menopur and 150 Follistim. I started taking Ganirelix on day 5 of stims once a day, then upped it to twice a day for the last few days and increased Menopur to 150. I had a dual trigger (Lupron and Pregnyl). 25 eggs were retrieved, 21 were mature. I felt back to normal 3 days after my egg retrieval and had a fresh transfer on day 5, which was successful.

Single cycle IVF was $15,700 Medications were around $4000 through Carrot

Dr. Singer is a warm, positive, knowledgable, and patient doctor who cares about you as a person. He knows the statistics behind each stage, knows the answers to your questions, and makes every interaction positive and caring. I had a wonderful experience being his patient.

Don't be afraid to ask questions.

It was covered by insurance but I did have to pay 4,000 for genetic testing.

Since we did genetic testing, he said we should single embryo transfer.

I had multiple consultations prior to starting infertility treatment. Dr. Singer immediately stood out because of his warmth, his clarity around the treatment plan and explaining the science to us in ways we could understand, his willingness to work with us (one doctor started pushing donor eggs in the very first conversation) and patience with our many questions. When the process started I knew I was in the right hands. We had better than expected results in our first cycle. Our second cycle was not successful (no PGT-A normal embryos), and Dr. Singer could not have been more compassionate when he called with that news. Our third cycle we were lucky enough to again have above average (particularly for my DOR diagnosis) results. At the end of our three retrievals we had multiple PGT-A normal embryos that we were able to freeze. We then had success on our first transfer. We could not be more grateful to Dr. Singer for his expertise and guidance every step of the way.

Talk to him! If you have questions, ask. If you have concerns, raise them. I'm a worrier and tend to over-analyze and research things, and he was great at explaining why he was doing what he was doing, and it put my anxious mind at ease.

I was on Menopur, Gonal-F, and cetrotide for all three retrievals. My dosages were adjusted throughout the retrieval cycles based on how I was responding at each office visit. Our basic approach did not vary because Dr. Singer (and me!) were thrilled with our first round - 7 eggs, 3PGTA normal embryos. While round two was not successful (4 eggs, 0 PGTA embryos), our third round had similar results to the first round. We were thrilled to be in a position where our dream of having multiple children had gone from feeling impossible, to probable! Our first transfer was successful - it was a frozen transfer, using PIO and estradiol for prep (also antibiotics and steroids for prep), and throughout the first 10 weeks, baby aspirin throughout pregnancy.

My insurance thankfully covered 3 attempts per live birth. My medicine was out of pocket and roughly 5K per retrieval, and a couple hundred dollars for transfer meds.

Because I had never been pregnant before and our embryos were tested, Dr. Singer felt strongly that the best course of action for me was SET given the risk of multiples. We agreed completely.

For as many patients that Dr. Singer had, I felt like I was the only one. He was available as needed and was always there to help guide me throughout the entire journey. He was very involved in the process and wanted to make sure I felt like I was in good hands.

No other clinic to go to!

My journey started with an in person visit for bloodwork to understand my AMH levels and a sonogram. Based on those results, Dr. Singer was able to formulate the right plan for me, including medication. I started off with two injections and a pill and then introduced a third during day 4/5. I then triggered on day 7/8. I went into the office frequently and Dr. Singer adjusted my medication intake as needed.

Monitoring was super easy - I always expect to wait around at doctors office and I typically get super impatient. I was a little worried about this going into the process knowing how frequently I would need to go into the office for monitoring. SGF never made me wait. I was always in and out and it was very easy. Again, made the process that much more enjoyable (without it actually being enjoyable, haha)

I believe it was around 7K for the procedure and then additional funds for the medicine and anesthesia.

Dr. Singer is optimistic, full of energy, and pays close attention to detail. During exams, he is delicate and relaxed while still providing the best medical care. He treated me with compassion and kindness. During the IUI, I was incredibly nervous. Dr. Singer took note, understood, and reacted as if I were his family. He was extra careful to make the IUI as painless as possible. He put on music, explained everything, and within minutes was done.

Dr. Singer sees many patients but will give you the time you need. Just be ready with your questions in advance so that you can tackle them when you do see him. Most importantly, trust him! He will lead you to where you want to go!

I have PCOS, so Dr. Singer put me on letrozole at the beginning of the cycle. He monitored the follicle growth and decided to wait until he saw more growth so he delayed the ovidrel/IUI piece and provided estradiol in the meantime. Then, a few days later, my husband administered the ovidrel shot and 36 hours later was the IUI. Post IUI, involved progesterone suppositories and estradiol. He closely monitors post IUI if there is a pregnancy.

I love that I see him for every visit, he is always very positive, unless there is a reason not to be, he is kind in bad news, but also very clear. He is always very matter of fact in his advice and treatment plans and is available and responsive.

Be ready to feel like part of the family, he is a wonderful man.

We have yet to start a treatment cycle with Dr. Singer, unfortunately as we need donor eggs and all donor cycles are on hold due to COVID-19 we are in a holding pattern. We are reviewing their frozen egg bank to see if there is a suitable donor there. He has us re-do all the testing from previous clinics with much additional to determine what protocols we should use including and ERA to determine exactly how much progesterone is needed for a transfer. None of the other doctors even suggested this test, we were planning to ask our last clinic. When discussing previous treatment protocols he is very clear about what is will and won't do based on science and his overall experience, other clinics have been very open to our suggestions which made us feel like we had to do the research and be the doctor.

We have been accepted into the Shared Risk Program with Shady Grove, but as we have not yet selected a donor we have not had to pay yet. If we do a 1:1 donor with the PGT-A testing the cost will be $77k excluding medications and that will cover up to 6 donors (and all the eggs that come from them) and all transfers until we take home a live child. If we don't or choose to give up then we get the $77k back. If we do the 2:1 then it would be $53k with the same as above except we would be splitting the eggs with another couple.

He has advised us that he would be most comfortable with eSET, but open to discussing the transfer of 2 embryos. Mostly because we would like to have two children. However, he is not strongly in favor due to the risk of the embryo and myself if a twin pregnancy does occur.

When first met he took the time to study all our recordes/results and stated IVF w PGS will help and once we have embryos we will see by the transfer how sevire is the ednomiosis. When we had 2 losses, he said it the edno and blood issues . Recomended Gestational carrier to not loose these hard to create pgs healthy embryos.

For me once beta shows pregnent, the doctor was very discoriging as it was on lower side and was hard to stay positive.

Used Letrozole with a 450 gonal F and 150 menupure which made more eggs and less side effects.

You signed in and based on the order people came they were seen without consideration to the appointment time

20k for each IVF cycle, bloodwork and medication not included. If wish PGS it is 2.5K separate.

He prefered multiple at my age and we wanted single, transfer was single.

I feel doctor singer is very kind and professional. I think he knows what he is talking about and very educated in all things IvF. He is direct and to the point and views the process as common. Although I like Dr. Singer I feel his bedside manner is lacking. I think he could be more compassionate and make a point to see a patient more than just at scheduled procedures. I met him at my first consultations and then not again until he was needed for my procedure.

Be prepared to wait for ALL appointments. The scheduling is not very organized and all staff from doctors to billing to reception are overworked.

I am currently in my first cycle so I am unable to provide results. We will be using my husbands sperm which was retrieved through tese surgery and frozen. I will be taking FSH injections 150 and 150 of HMG. We will then do an egg retrieval and hopefully do a fresh transfer.

We were partially covered under Aetna insurance. We paid a portion of blood work, sonograms, egg retrieval, and fresh transfer costs. Sperm freezing and unfreezing, sperm storage, and embryo storage were all out of pocket costs which ran us just over $5,000

My doctor was open to both but did not properly educate me on the reasonings.

He explained everything patiently and thoroughly. I texted him over a weekend with a question to which he responded instantly. He is very smart and has exceptional bedside manner. Dr Singer is always smiling and enthusiastic but also realistic about the whole process.

Ask a lot of questions as he is extremely knowledgeable but initially just goes over the more general “summary”

225 follistin, 150 menapur. Follistin was increased to 300 after 5 days. Ganarelix for 4 nights. Then the trigger of Pregnyl. Every other day for blood/sonogram the first 6 days then daily after that.

9,000 per cycle plus egg storage and not including medication

Dr. Singer was very candid when meeting with my husband and i . However, he was sympathetic and kind when addressing our situation and gave us all of our options even if success rates were low. As a man, he was able to support and reassure my husband who was reluctant to receive treatment for our infertility or even attend an appointment. He consistently reassured us and gave us support during our failed cycles.

Continue to practice with care, love and compassion.

Dr. Tomer suggested the use of Clomid to increase egg/ follicle size during my IUI cycles. Although he suggested IVF, he supported our decision to try IUI first. He provided what information he had it turns of financial information for IVF but still respected our decision to try IUI. I came in and did blood work and then used the trigger shot to ovulate. Insemination was done about 36 hours post trigger shot the first cycle and about 26 hours post trigger shot the second cycle (my recollection of the timing may be off). Unfortunately both cycles did not result in pregnancy.

All IUI procedural costs were covered by my insurance except for co pays. Nursing staff assisted in locating trigger shot at a lower price since the shot was not covered by insurance.

Dr Singer is a wonderful person who seems to really care about his patients. However, he thought Id be an easy case and I was far from. Rather than adjusting my protocol, he blamed the ivf not working on the fact my embryos are abnormal. He pushed for PGS but we never got enough embryos on day 5 for it to make sense finacially. It was very frustrating to go through 3 ivf cycles at 31-32 years old and be told over and over all my embryos are abnormal. When I did switch clinics, I did do PGS for the first time and 7/10 of my embryos were normal. I do not think Dr Singer was willing to look for another answer so leaving his clinic was the right choice for us.

I think this goes for any clinic and any doctor, but my advice is know when to move on. Doctor Singer was the first doctor I saw and was convinced if he did not get me pregnant, then no one could. After 3 fresh ivf cylces and 4 transfers I finally went somewhere else and did end up having a child after two ivf cycles there.

I was on very high doses of meds for my age. 300 gonal f, 300 menapur. I have no idea why that was my dose or rational behind it. I got 10 eggs, 13 eggs and 15 eggs during my 3 cycles.

I did the Attain IVF money back program. That was a flat cost for 3 cycles. Money back if no success.

I transferred two embryos every time because my embryos were always poor quality. We never discusses a single transfer due to my situation.

Tomer Singer is knowledgeable and extremely caring. I always felt like I was in good hands. He gave great advise and was sensitive to all of our concerns. He had incredible bedside manner. Could not recommend him enough!

Book far in advance. Know how aggressive you want to be with treatment. I would fully understand the pros and cons of each procedure before proceeding.

We started with hormone injectables, went thru IUI's and then progressed to IVF. IVF was successful after the 2nd time around.

Singer explained all the pros and cons of both. We transferred two for the first transfer and had a miscarriage. The second round we only did one transfer and it worked!

He's a nice guy, but not sure if I trust him enough to go through a cycle with him. He sounds like a car salesman more so than a doctor when he described the procedures. He seemed to be more interested in getting more patients which equals more profit than his success rates per each patients. I was very disappointed after seeing him and spoke to him during consultation.

Don't go there!

They were not up front about co-insurances and co-pays for genetic testing and radiological imaging tests.

Dr. Singer was easy to work with. He understood where.we were coming from. Explained success of IVF vs donor. But unfortunately he left the clinic we were working with. Afterwards the following steps to make decisions were in limbo.

Prepare questions ahead of time.

We are still in the pre-clearance testing phase.

Challenging to have bills sent to and secondary insurance.

Did not reach this stage yet.

He was friendly, comforting and compassionate in his interactions. I felt that he did not fully explain the treatment, and what to expect. I felt that he was negative and I don’t feel that he gave me chance to get the best possible outcome that I could have had.

Push your agenda, do your research, ask questions and look for answers.

The monitoring was efficient and smooth. The technician was very gently and kind, which goes a long way.

Copays

Dr. singer was great the couple of times I met him. He performed one of my IUIs and it was the quickest and easiest one. I do wish he would have seen me more instead of the nurse practioner but I understand he is on a super busy schedule.

Get an appt first thing in the morning or risk long wait times.

A couple of rounds of clomid but after that didn't work, we did 4 rounds of IUIs

My insurance doesn't cover fertility treatments so I had to pay out of pocket what is charged.

He is great and very detailed, but sometimes I did feel his practice was getting so big and there were too many patients for him. But when I had complications he was amazing and called to check in on the weekends and at night.

Ask a lot of questions

Clomid for the iui to make me ovulate since I have pcos and then low dose of the injections for the retrieval because I was at high risk of ohss

Went to Dr. Singer and got all tests done prior to conceiving. He never told me that I was a carrier for hemophilia. I’m now currently pregnant with a baby, who tested positive for hemophilia. And my baby is predicted to be a severe hemophiliac. My pregnancy journey has been the most depressing and hardest thing I’ve had to deal with.

If you want a doctor who communicates with you and is honest then seek a different doctor. My life will now be completely different having a child with a disease.

Always was trying to label me and I could conceive naturally. He made it like something was wrong with me at every visit. He never mentioned the most important thing, which is that I’m a carrier for a rare blood disorder. I will now have a son that will live with this in a severe form for the rest of his life.

Best doctor! Let's start with the results: I met Dr. Singer in April and by June I was pregnant! This was after 2 unsuccessful rounds of IVF at a large clinic in NYC. Dr. Singer was a welcome breath of fresh air and gave me hope. I found IVF to be such a stressful experience, but knowing that I could fully trust my doctor made everything so much easier. I truly cannot recommend him enough! Hoping to go back to him for #2 soon.

Dr. Singer is a great doctor, straight forward and pleasant at the same time. He worked with our situation and provided support even when the outcome wasn't what we hoped for. The nurses at his office were great and very helpful. Everyone was supportive and helpful during and after the treatment.
