I met Dr. Libby for the first time over zoom about 3 months ago and she was very thorough, realistic and helped me set expectations as to what approach to take given that I did not have any successful normal embryos retrieved at an another reproductive clinic.

To be open minded and ask questions about anything you do not understand about your protocol

I have not started my IVF treatment but will be going through two embryo freezing cycles with the microdose Lupron flare and the rationale is that I have a diminished ovarian reserve!

The costs for 2 cycle of embryo banking is around $21k and does not include and embryo PGT testing

She is pretty fresh out of bed school, and seems eager to work with patients. I laughed after the call with her when she told me, “ you have allot of eggs.” Fertility treatments can feel gloomy but she made it funny. I haven’t meant with her in person yet, but I’m going to take the trip to Atlanta because she helped me put things in a different perspective. She didn’t try to force me to be her patient, she invited me to be her patient. That’s the difference.

Ask her questions about your medical history and reports l. She told me things about my egg count and follicles that the last clinic never explained this. I could have had fertility medications a long time ago.

Wow, Dr. Libby was just amazing. We had a long journey and she was right there with us in the trenches. She was our third fertility doctor. She thought outside the box, was willing to try new things, was open to our questions, and used her team to help us. She is kind, and truly listens to you and our partners needs and concerns.

Come with good questions because she will help you get the answers you need.

Dr. Libby is great at explaining really complicated things in a way that made perfect sense to me and she also made sure we knew exactly why she recommended various steps and options for us. She went above and beyond for us every step of the way.

If you don't understand something, ASK! She will always take the time to make sure you understand anything that is confusing and you should know what's going on in your own body.

She put me on thyroid medication pretty quickly and we also did a hysteroscopy to remove some tissue. We did two IUI's that resulted in chemical pregnancies before we moved to IVF so we could genetically test our embryos before we transferred them. After our first transfer resulted in a negative pregnancy test, we increased my progesterone and I believe she made a few more med adjustments (I can't remember exactly what they were) and our second transfer was successful.

We were VERY lucky to have fertility coverage through secondary insurance called Progyny. I think we came out of pocket less than $7,000 including all of my medications, my hysteroscopy, egg retrieval, 2 IUI's and 2 embryo transfers.

She is amazing. Great bedside manner. The only doctor that has listened and helped us become successful. She took her time and was really thorough with her testing to make sure all of the bases were covered. We spoke indepth about my feelings with th treatments and came up with a plan together

She is awesome. Trust her and trust the process.

She had me see several specialists after looking through my history that nobody has ever thought to do before. I went through extensive testing and work ups and added baby aspirin to my regime along with specific vitamins for my husband before have a treatment. After having my positive test they started medications right away and made me feel really cared for

Starting my fertility journey was probably the last thing I wanted to be doing. We had been trying for almost 3 years and seeing an infertility specialist seemed very overwhelming and disheartening. Dr. Libby completely changed my mindset and outlook from the second I met her. She made this entire process as enjoyable as possible and offered endless encouragement and support. Graduating from her practice was actually bittersweet because I loved working with her so much. I cannot recommend Dr. Libby and SGF enough to others who are struggling with infertility. They have been the biggest blessing to my husband and me.

Everyone’s goal is to support you and help you along this journey. They all understand how overwhelming this can be and will all be there to hold your hand along the way. You’ll end up feeling like you’ve gained a family through this journey

Dr. Libby gave me a lot of power and autonomy when it came to how we approached our fertility. She said we could start with just a medicated cycle or we could go all in and do the IUI procedure with it. Either way, she supported what we wanted to do. She said we could try IUI for around 6 months and then could advance to IVF if we needed to. We decided to do the full medicated cycle with IUI procedure. We ended up pregnant with the very first cycle and I’m currently 12 weeks!

I had Progeny so most everything was covered for me

Dr Libby was my second fertility doctor and I’m very happy we finally chose her and Shady Grove. She followed the protocols and created a thorough treatment plan, exactly what we needed after rather unpleasant experience with a private practice with loose treatment plans and ever changing protocols

You made the right choice. You may not she her as often as you may expect but the team will take a good care of you and you’ll be on the phone with her every time you need it

We had a standard FET protocol first - unsuccessful, and the second time we had it adjusted to include estradiol patches - it was successful

I had good insurance so we paid $10k for egg retrieval and about $700 for each of the FET cycles. We also paid about $1000 for meds

Dr Libby is set on the single embryo transfer as I understand
