I think my previous comment describes it accurately. Just be careful to get your plan of care in writing and don't wait for them to contact you with what you need to do - contact THEM and make sure you don't get lost in the shuffle.

The clinic is good at assessing where you are at. Be open about what you are looking for and set boundaries as needed related to visits at your preferred location and budgetary constraints. I think that this entire process requires patience and it is helpful to have outside support in addition to the support you receive at the clinic. Also, their fertility app did not work well with my android phone. I was unable to download some of the pdf files but they were willing to assist if/when I called while I was at a testing site and needed them to forward lab requests for a blood draw. Also, I sometimes would find it a little tricky to find the letter or lab request they posted to the site, but once again, they were helpful if/when I called. I could have avoided this by logging in and printing the items from my home laptop/printer but I think the whole point of the app is convenience so hopefully they can update it in the future to work better with android phones.

I went to the Crystal Lake and Hoffman Estates locations the most. The one in Crystal Lake had fewer staff. I felt I often walked into an empty front office there. The Hoffman Estates office was busy. I always had to wait there. with other patients. The nurse educator for the medications was very thorough and kind. The clinic's weakest points are the billing department - disorganized, not following protocol. Storage billing should start with $1000, then bill $50 for 3 months, then go to $150 quarterly. I received a $1150 bill, then a $50 bill immediately. Was told it was from the upcoming month after. Next bill was a quarterly bill, re-billing for the single month I had already paid for. I felt I was constantly dealing with contacting the billing department with corrections. They didn't improve during COVID-19, billing 6 months close together, missing a mailing altogether, then I was contacted by e-mail. Very inconsistent. I knew this ahead of time from online reviews.

Walking into InVia for the first time I was impressed. It is very clean, but not in the sense that you’re sitting in a sterile doctor’s office (although I’m sure it is), but decorated like home. Imagine a cork board loaded with pictures of babies and thank you notes, end tables with baskets of snacks, comfy chairs, and an ambience of hope.

We live in the northern suburbs so it was a relief to find out that I could go to their Northbrook satellite location for monitoring. Sheila, who is in the northbrook office, is a total angel. Her ultrasounds were always thorough. I never left her office feeling like I needed more information. I am so thrilled we chose Invia!

It seems that the clinic is separated into different departments. You have the receptionist who can answer all the basic questions. The nurse who can answer the medical and test questions. The billing department that helps you understand the cost and if you have any questions about the bill. The doctor who can tell you anything you want to know, except the exact price of tests or medicines. This can be both a strength and weakness. I say this because it's a strength since everyone is a master at their position, but it's a weakness when someone has left early and no one else is there to answer your question. Otherwise the clinic is relaxing, clean, and made me feel comfortable.

My husband and I give Dr. Karande 5 stars! After trying to conceive for over two years we were referred to Dr. Karande by my OB/Gyn. He explained every possible cause for our lack of success and guided us through every test and procedure in order to get some answers. After it was determined that our best chance at conception was IVF, Dr. Karande explained in great detail our estimated costs, timeline, and answered all of the questions we had. When we decided to go through with IVF, I received regular communication from the staff with clear instructions on what my next steps were until my next appointment. Any questions that I had I could either call or message them in their patient portal and I would get prompt responses. After completing all of the necessary steps, I am now 11 weeks pregnant! I look forward to working with Dr. Karande and his exceptional staff in the future for baby number two!

Everything is good about the clinic. Starting from the staff to their doctors. They have an online portal that will communicate you everything. Blood work results are in the same day. Dr. Karande was very professional. I didn’t see any weaknesses from the clinic.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this clinic. They complete all procedures at the office, have a portal where most communication occurs and they respond very quickly to any questions you have. This includes nurses, doctors, and the embryologists.

The clinic is very strong. The staff work together well, they are there for the patients and they are very well informed about what they do. It is definitely different from getting care at my Primary Care doctor's office of OBGYN's office. I love this clinic and their attentiveness to their patients and have no suggestions on how they could improve such great care!

I loved them. The entire staff is friendly and don’t make you feel uncomfortable. They are more then willing to answer any questions you have. Only mild complaint is There were some days I couldn’t get as early as an appointment as I needed but 90% of the time it was the earliest slot

The clinic itself was nice and a fun environment. The staff were always kind and compassionate.

Clinic was great. Clean, nice, wonderful staff. No complaints. I really appreciated how I was brought into appointments quickly, without having to wait too long. That means a lot when you are going in all the time.

I was always seen in a timely manner. I had 2 places that were convenient for me to attend, and the staff worked well which facility I needed each time. The receptionists were personable, the nurses were all outgoing and remembered you, and everyone explained everything I needed to know. I was very pleased with the overall facility and all the individuals.

The patient portal is really good, all the communication happens there help both of us know what is going on. Making appointment is also super easy. The staff answers our questions/voicemail within 4-6 hours, day or night.

Back in 2019 we went to InVia Fertility for our first baby after trying to get pregnant naturally for 2.5 years and no success. We went through 3 rounds of IUI with no success (statistically chances are slim anyway - about 12% for success) and then we did our first IVF cycle and it was successful. I got pregnant, pregnancy went well with no complications and in August of 2020 I gave birth to a wonderful healthy baby girl. 2023 Update - We went back to InVia Fertility for our second baby. Again the first IVF cycle was successful and I'm 12 weeks pregnant now. I feel so blessed and grateful, I tell everyone that for me, it's God and then comes Dr. Karande. Pregnancy is progressing well and we are so excited to find out the sex of the baby soon. I would highly recommend this clinic for any fertility needs, the whole stuff is extremely nice and makes you feel welcome. All nurses and even the front desk staff is naturally kind, not fake kind or rude as some other places can be. I have never felt more comfortable and welcome at any other clinic ever before. Dr. Karnade knows what he is doing, just follow the instructions. He doesn't talk much so he is not wasting your time, he goes straight to the point and gets the work done, which I like. The other doctor Klipstein is also very nice, she did my embryo transfer this time and it was a very pleasant experience as well.

It’s a good clinic. The thing that I most like is that they open at 6:30 am for monitoring, so it was very easy to get appts before 7 am and then be on time for work. A very big plus is that they are open for monitoring 365 days a year, which not many clinics do. So you can have a egg retrieval on Thanksgiving or Christmas if it has to.

Strength: Invia has a great statistical rate of getting women babies. It’s a great clinic with great people who have done this more than thousands of times. Trust in the protocol and doctors and nurses. Weakness: none

I appreciated the communication platform the clinic uses to manage messages, lab results, and appointments. I felt like I was informed throughout the entire process. Nurses and billing staff replied to messages quickly with answers to all my questions.

We started this process before our previous clinic was bought by Invia Fertility. The nursing staff in Rockford is amazing, and I can't say enough positive things about them. Unfortunately, they were not open for monitoring yet for the majority of my treatment cycle, so I did not have the experience that I pictured. It was kind of a nightmare. I knew that we would have to travel due to being located in Central Illinois, and we were willing to do whatever it took to conceive a child. From the start, I just wanted to have a successful cycle and never see them again. I didn't feel any personal touch whatsoever and it felt like I was just a number for their yearly report. It was frustrating to never speak to the same person. It was like I had to restate my concerns several times before getting an answer because of how their workflows are built. The front desk staff seemed incapable of reading the notes in our chart indicating how far away we were and that we needed the latest possible apt. We were scheduled countless times for appointments at 6am and I'd have to reschedule immediately because there was no way I was leaving at 3:30 am. The nurses don't take accountability for making errors. For example, we had a HUGE shipping issue with our donor sperm two days before our egg retrieval that resulted in us having to pay close to $500 to get in there in time. We were explicitly told to not ship our sperm until we were told to, so we didn't. Two days before my retrieval, I was kind of lost in all the hormones I was taking, feeling unwell from them, and exhausted from driving 18 hours that week to appointments and realized, shoot, we never shipped our sperm because they never told us to. It arrived in time, but had it not been, we would have had to pay a couple of grand to freeze my eggs as well which was not the initial plan. Later on, I spoke to a clinic manager who was super dismissive and treated me like I was a difficult patient (did not take ownership of several communication issues, and blatantly denied her nurse telling us that they would tell us when to have sperm shipped, and claimed that I must be confused with our previous doctor). I cited the nurse's name because it was NOT a nurse from our previous practice. It was a nurse at Invia. She didn't have a whole lot to say after that and overall the conversation was not productive and I didn't feel heard. I had little to no trust in them after that, and still don't. The only time a nurse checked in on me was after my egg retrieval. NOT ONCE did they ask how I was feeling or doing, how I was adjusting to injections, or anything like that. I felt like I had gone through this almost entirely on my own (with the exception of my partner).

The office staff was always friendly and organized. I was often amazed that so early in the morning with such a crowded office they were so welcoming and able to balance the demand of many patients. When I had some issues with my insurance company they were very helpful and understanding.

The clinic and nurses communicates through an app, a portal. This is great because all of your documents and messages can be tracked and referenced. The down side to this is you don't always get a live person on the phone - and when you're anxious, you're wondering if the message was received... 99% of the time the nurses and clinic staff responds via phone within a 15-minute window.

Strengths- the portal system makes communicating with your doctor or nurses so easy. I will miss that as there were many times I messaged nursing with questions and they reply within 30 mins many times. I can’t say enough good things about the nurses I’ve dealt with. Early appointment times were a perk too along with having a clinic 5 mins from my home for quick bloodwork and ultrasound appointments. Weaknesses- Hoffman estates office is busy. Several of my appointments at that office were delayed substantially. I was told I couldn’t bring my 3 year old toddler to my appointments so I have to pay a babysitter. When appointments run off schedule, it would create issues with my limited childcare. One of my appointments was 50 minutes behind. Just be prepared with Hoffman that your appointments might not be on time sometimes also with no apology. I wouldn’t have minded so much if they were at least apologetic.
