It was a very organized, focused cycle. I felt supported and encouraged throughout. Everything was explained to me and coordinated with my doctors back home. This was an out of state procedure for me. Flew out, had the transfer, rested one day and flew back home.

Ask lots of questions and be your own best advocate. My advice for everyone with ANY doctor.

Trying to conceive was a very difficult time for me. Even though I had previously been diagnosed with endometriomas and a uterine fibroid, I hadn't had a doctor who could explain the impact of these conditions on my fertility. Dr. Saleh was the first doctor to help me understand the picture of my fertility and help me come up with a plan I felt comfortable with. And, he did so with warmth and understanding.

Do not be afraid to ask questions or ask for clarification.

I have advanced endometriosis, but, given the size of my endometriomas (cysts) as well as other test results, Dr. Saleh advised that we could try the more conservative approach of IUI/clomid prior to embarking on IVF. If memory serves, he recommended trying 4-6 rounds of IUI/clomid before IVF. I released one egg and did not achieve a pregnancy on my first round of IUI; however, I released two eggs and achieve a singleton pregnancy on my second round of IUI.

Dr. Saleh is personable, highly skilled, competent, efficient, professional, gentle, and patient. He explained everything about the process as we went along and was great with answering my questions. He even answered questions via email between appointments and in a timely manner! I most appreciated his gentle approach when I experienced pain during procedures. He was consistent with this and patient with me trying to work through the pain. He was thorough, straight forward about my diagnoses and recommendations, and efficient.

We did an HSG scan, NK cell testing, full IVF procedure including egg retrieval, freezing remaining embryos, and a fresh transfer. The rationale was that I have diminished ovarian reserve, endometriosis on my tubes, and abnormal placement of my tubes meaning IVF was the best recommendation for my situation. We did the HSG scan to find this information about. NK cell testing was done due to the endometriosis diagnosis.

Approximately $18,500 for total IVF process. $13,000 for egg retrieval and approximately $5k for medications. $500 for anesthesia for egg retrieval. We had additional testing needs (NK cell testing) so this was another $450 or so plus those treatment costs.

Dr. Saleh recommended eSET due to my age (30) and this being my first transfer.

After trying to conceive for 2 years I found Dr Saleh, from the first consultation we knew he was the one, he is very knowledgeable and kind. The most thing I liked is after first test you don’t waste you time waiting to start your process, after a week of my first blood draw I got my first HSG test and we found out one of my tubes was blocked and the other one didn’t have the best shape…so he explained to me that I can get pregnant just with one tube open but I was going to take time for that to happened and we should take the advantage that I have good quality eggs. So we started the process 1 week later after that. Our nurse was amazing, you don’t have to worry about forgetting anything, the staff of always on top of everything. Our first consultation happened on March 25th. Our eggs retrieval on May 20th (8 out 16 eggs made it). From those 8 eggs 6 were sent to genetic testing, 2 came back normal, 1 mosaic and 3 abnormal. The transfer happened on August 1st and on August 28th we heard the heartbeat of our baby for the first time. Thank you dr Saleh, dr Collins and all the staff.

We used Gonal F, menopur and Ganirelix to make the eggs grow, Lupron to induce the ovulation. After egg retrieval we started progesterone and estradiol to prepare the body for the transfer

Dr Saleh took the time at every visit to walk through the procedure or steps. His calm demeanor was appreciated after a bad experience with another clinic. Because of my advanced age, he made sure I knew the process might not be as easy as someone half my age, but he never discouraged us in our journey. His boisterous laugh always made the visits easier and when we had a scare at the beginning of our pregnancy, he took the time to make sure we knew exactly what was going on. He did not feel rushed to make it to the next patient.

Set your appointment up immediately! After working with two other clinics, one doing IUI treatments, Dr Saleh was honestly a breathe of fresh air.

The costs were exactly as expected as my job provides IVF insurance coverage.

We didn’t discuss transferring two embryos, just one.

I felt like family. I didnt feel blown off like a number! He didnt seem like he was annoyed when we asked multiple questions and did everything with a smile. You can tell he likes his job. We felt welcomed!

Be prepared to take in alot of info. Alot of steps to the process. Trust in him, he is the best doctor to lead you!

I had to do injections, multiple different ones and different types of medications, I dont remember all specifically. Planned to the T though and then set for egg retrieval and then transfer!
